2000.07 : The Honda Accord/Torneo Euro-R (GH-CL1) high-performance sports sedan were added to the Accord/Torneo series.
The Honda Accord/Torneo Euro R are fitted with the improved H22A 2.2 liter DOHC VTEC engine that produces 220 horsepower and 22.5 kg-m of torque. The H22A engine performance has been improved by adopting  twin silencers and having improved the aspiration efficiency. And the Honda Accord/Torneo Euro R adopt the exclusive low-down suspension, 16 inches alloy wheels, a stiffer body and improved brakes. Also, they come with RECARO bucket seats, a leather wrapped MOMO steering wheel, an aluminum shift knob, a gauge cluster in white color, and red painted engine head cover.

2002.05 : The Honda Accord/Torneo Euro Rx were added. The Honda Euro Rx features including special color RECARO seats, a high wing rear spoiler, privacy glass, and a titanium shift knob.


2002.10 : The enhanced driving performance Honda Accord Euro R (CL7) was launched. The Honda Accord Euro-R is powered by the K20A 2.0liter DOHC i-VTEC engine that makes 220 horsepower and 21.0kg-m of torque. The Honda Accord Euro R adopts the lightweight 6-speed manual transmission that offers highly responsive performance. An exterior design with accentuated sportiness throughout, including aeroform bumpers, honeycomb mesh front grill, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Also, springs, anti-sway bars, and bushings are firmer, and shock absorbers have been tuned for optimum damping.
